Batch Conversion

 
If you have existing video and audio files, and you want to convert them either in different format, or create a proxy of smaller size to share with the stakeholders, or create automatic subtitles in one or more languages, go to the batch conversions. Batch conversions allow you to convert all sort of files in your desired format, extract audio from the video file, convert the subtitle file, create a proxy and translate from audio.  To access the Batch Conversion, go to Tools > Batch Conversion.
 
 
A Conversion window will pop out. Click on add button to select the type of the conversion.
 
Several conversion options are available. Below is the detail for each type of the conversion.
 

Create Video Proxy

If your existing files are too heavy to watch, and you want to have faster and smaller version of these file, create video proxy. Select the respective option in the batch conversion window.
 
Browse and choose one or several files, as needed.
 
 
The conversion will not start automatically. Click on start and the program will start converting the video(s).
 
 
Once done, you can see and access the original as well as the converted file.
 
 

Extract audio

On the other hand, if you want to extract the audio from any of the video file, select the respective option from the Conversion window.
 
 
Browse and select the video and the program will extract and create the audio only file.
 
 
Click on start and the program will start extracting the audio from the video(s).
 
 
Once done, you will get the access to the audio files as well as to the original video files.
 
 

Subtitle Conversion

Similarly, if you want to change the output of one or multiple subtitle files in any other format, select the respective option from the Conversion window.
 
 
A subtitle conversion window will open. Add the subtitle file, and select the output format.
 
 
When you select the output format you can also select some Options specific to that format. Every format has different options available depending on its specifics.  You can also select which Subtitle Profile to be assigned if you have more than one. The Auto Fix Errors will try to fix all subtitles as per the defined by you subtitling rules. This way when the subtitles are converted they will be automatically fixes and the resulting file will be saved with the options you have chosen to be applied to this subtitle file.
 
Click on start and the program will convert the respective file in the desired output format.
 
 

Speech to text

If you want to use any video or audio file to create subtitles, you can do so by selecting the respective option from the Conversion window.
 
 
Browse and select the audio or video file that you want to choose for dictation for the subtitles.
 
 
Choose the appropriate preset, and start to extract the dictation.
The resulting file will have the subtitles extracted from the selected file.
 

Translate from Audio

If you want to use any video or audio file to create subtitles with automatic translations to one or more languages you can do so by selecting Translate from Audio. Choose one or more media files (video or audio), select the preset to be used for translation, select the source language of your media files, select the languages to which you want to create translated subtitle files and click OK.
