Format Menu

All of these commands are dedicated to text and subtitle formatting.
Each subtitle has a Style assigned to it from which it takes its formatting and text attributes. You can override one or more parameters in the individual subtitles in which case they will show a + (plus) sign after their style name - for example Default will be shown as Default+. It is recommended to use styles instead of changing individual subtitles' parameters - this way it is easier to make changes to formatting based on style classification.

11.
Specify the alignment of the subtitle's text bounding box. When subtitle's region has Absolute Positioning option enabled the vertical alignment is relative to the subtitle's absolute vertical position, else it is relative to the Region's bounds.
22.
Text alignment of the subtitle's text within its bounding box - Left, Center, Right, Justified. You can have Right Display Aligned subtitles with Left Text align, i.e. the subtitle will be at the right of the screen but its text lines will be aligned to the left.
44.
Type of the box behind the subtitle. See also Box Type Toolbar.
55.
Display the Font dialog to change the character attributes of the subtitles.

Clear all additional formatting of the subtitle's text
88.
Reset subtitle's styling parameters to their style defaults. For example if you have moved the subtitle vertically, this will reset to the vertical position as defined in the style. If there are multiple subtitles selected the command will be applied to all of them.
