This window shows you exactly what your subtitles look like. You can drag it to your second screen and maximize it to full screen (double click it or choose Size > Full Screen from the context menu). The second screen can be another display, a TV set connect by HDMI connector on your laptop or a computer graphic card. You can even connect it to a Projector and play your subtitled video on the big screen. Using 3D monitor as a second screen for Preview is a way to have real-time preview of your 3D subtitles.
In the context menu (right clicking the Preview window), you have the following options:
Size:
Choose from Full, Half and Third from the size of the video or Full Screen to maximize the window to entire screen.
Background:
Choose the background.
3D View:
Choose how 3D video is previewed. 2D/3D will present it in split screen which is useful for viewing it on separate 3D capable monitor. In Anaglyph you can use Red-Cyan glasses to view in 3D. Left Only will preview only the left portion of the video making it 2D.
Open Subtitles: Render subtitles as open, using all styling, font, position and color parameters.
Teletext: Renders subtitles as seen in teletext devices.
CC: Renders subtitles as seen in Closed Captioning (EIA-608/EIA-708) devices
Multi File Preview: When checked preview will preview simultaneously subtitles from all opened files. Each file's subtitles are colored differently.
