SubtitleNEXTis constantly being developed and improved, so many new features and bug fixes become available on a regular basis. SubtitleNEXTusers are entitled to receive these updates and upgrades if they meet the following criteria:
The user has a valid SubtitleNEXT license for the particular major version.
The latest versions of the software are available for all licensed users of the current major version.
For example, patch SubtitleNEXT5.0.3 is a free download for all SubtitleNEXT5.0 users.
Latest versions containing upgrades are available for all licensed users of the current major version.
For example, SubtitleNEXT5.2 is a free download for all SubtitleNEXT5.0 users.
New software versions are available for all licensed users of the past major version.
For example, SubtitleNEXT6.0 can be purchased at a moderate upgrade fee by all SubtitleNEXT5.0 users.
The user has a valid Annual Software Maintenance (ASM) subscription.
When a new version is available, SubtitleNEXT prompts to update if automatic checking for new versions is enabled in Options / Preferences / Updates. The user can also manually check for new versions by going to Options / Preferences / Updates and clicking the Check Now button.
