If you have a recorded audio, or existing video file that you want to use for the subtitle creation, configure the parameters for the speech to text conversion for the smooth transition, while selecting the engine that is the most appropriate for the language that you want to use for the subtitle.
To configure the Speech to Text parameters, go to Options > Preferences > Speech to Text.
Create presets for Speech to Text configuration by choosing one of the available engines. Currently Microsoft, or Scriptix are available. Add the API keys, for Microsoft more options depending on the options.
If you choose either Microsoft or Scriptix, SubtitleNEXT will ask you for the respective API details, which is described above in detail under the respective headings. Set the parameters of the respective choice, choose the language, enable punctuation and click ok to use the configuration to convert speech to text for the subtitles.
