Subtitle Control Toolbar

 
This toolbar enables you to modify subtitles by splitting, joining, moving rows between subtitles, moving words among lines, edit subtitle numbers and comments, etc.
All of these commands can be found in the Subtitles menu and its submenus.

Split

1. Split
Split the subtitle at current position.

Merge Next

2. Merge Next
Combine the text and time of current and next subtitle.

Merge Previous

3. Merge Previous
Combine the text and time of previous and current subtitle.

Insert Subtitle

4. Insert Subtitle
Insert new empty subtitle after the current one.

Delete Subtitle

5. Delete Subtitle
Delete the current subtitle.

Clear Text

6. Clear Text
Erase the text content of the current or the selected subtitles.

Edit ID

7. Edit ID
Show subtitle's ID/Number editor. SubtitleNEXT allows any text to be used as a subtitle ID, not only numbers. If you want to stick to consecutive numbers as subtitle IDs, you can set Auto Renumber option in the Preferences.
